I.e. if you are trustable in AirBnB and Ebay, you are likely to be trustable in an BlaBlaCar trip. They define themselves as online passport: "In *Traity* you receive your online passport to reflect your real reputation and prove you are credible on any website." They even include a way for third-parties to reward users with badges. They don't offer a "unique number" condensing the reputation but a complex profile... the faq is useful for that: https://traity.com/faq Of course, the whole thing is centralised, non-free, for-profit, US-based. PS: Wtf, just noticed there is a student of mine hired by this startup xD It seems the three founders are Spanish. -- Samer "We are the ones we have been waiting for" (June Jordan) -- Check out the Commons Transition Plan here at: http://en.wiki.floksociety.org/w/Research_Plan P2P Foundation: http://p2pfoundation.net - http://blog.p2pfoundation.net <http://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/p2p-foundation>Updates: http://twitter.com/mbauwens; http://www.facebook.com/mbauwens #82 on the (En)Rich list: http://enrichlist.org/the-complete-list/
