Also from time to time (usually when the bug happens i think) root becomes the owner of my .ICEauthority and .fonts.cache-1 . O acá, reciente en suse 10.1. http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/index.php?showtopic=39981 O acá: http://www.mepislovers.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?viewmode=flat&order=A... Have a lok at your .ICEauthority permissions (hidden in home) If they are root then do this: sudo chown YourUsername .ICEauthority sudo chgrp YourUsername .ICEauthority If that doesn't work you may need to change all your permissions like this: sudo chown -R YourUsername * sudo chgrp -R YourUsername * Y acá (2003, sin contestaciones...): http://www.redhat.com/archives/shrike-list/2003-October/msg00572.html I'm running redhat 9 and I'm having a problem of something or some proccess changing the ownership of /home/user/.ICEauthority to root.
