Hi,
Well, I've just tried the second time and I receive this error message:
root@KanotixBox:/home/marius/ams-1.8.7# make g++ -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT -I/usr/lib/qt3/include -DLADSPA_PATH=\"/usr/lib/ladspa:/ usr/local/lib/ladspa\" -I/usr/X11R6/include -I. -O2 -Wall -c -o synthdata.o sy nthdata.cpp synthdata.cpp:3:21: error: qobject.h: No existe el fichero o el directorio synthdata.cpp:4:21: error: qstring.h: No existe el fichero o el directorio In file included from synthdata.cpp:6: synthdata.h:6:21: error: qthread.h: No existe el fichero o el directorio [.....] synthdata.cpp:491: error: 'moduleList' was not declared in this scope make: *** [synthdata.o] Error 1
"No existe el fichero o el directorio" means: "Te file or directory doesn't exists" Mmm... you should have your environment configured for english... did you booted in english? dis you selected IceWM-English from KDM? do you use konsole?
What I did was: I've changed the path of qt3 library in the Makefile and, of course, the necessary update to the rfftw header link in the spectrumview.hand spectrumview .cpp (to fix the main issue); than I just used make.
Ok, and you configured it ... with: ./configure --prefix=/usr ¿?
I think that my Musix it's missing some headers files or some library or I just didn't configured the Makefile as I should be, what you think?
Mm.... We should see the file synthdata.cpp, could you send it to us? and see the lines 3,4,6, and 491, to loock up for the file or directory that does no exists: synthdata.cpp:3:21: error: qobject.h: No existe el fichero o el directorio synthdata.cpp:4:21: error: qstring.h: No existe el fichero o el directorio In file included from synthdata.cpp:6: synthdata.h:6:21: error: qthread.h: No existe el fichero o el directorio [.....] synthdata.cpp:491: error: 'moduleList' was not declared in this scope Regards,

Hi,
I've just installed Musix a couple of days a go and I found it really
cool.
I think I'll leave my planned Ubuntu upgrade and get on Musix all the
way,
as I usually use my computer for music. I've tried already Demudi and Dynebolic but Musix just suits me almost perfect, though I have a problem...
Hi: cool!
I usually use Alsa Modular Synth, but there's always seems to be a library dependency bug that affects the Spectrum View module; as I found about it on the AMS list: to fix this problem and make the Spectrum View
to
work, you must get the AMS source code, modify the link to the fftw
library
in the source files and then rebuild the app. That worked on Ubuntu, but
on
Musix I'm not so sure how to modify the Makefile.
Well, could you give us some more details? It should be like on Ubuntu (did you tried to modify this file on Musix? just use kate to edit it), both Musix and Ubuntu are Debian based distros, so there should not be too much differences.
Is there anyone who can help me?
Thx
Marius
