Hola ,para instalar mplayer y los códecs con apt:

Aquí un script que te baja,compila y crea un paquete .deb con mplayer y los códecs necesarios.

Yo lo he probado y me ha funcionado muy bien ,aunque no lo he hecho en Musix sino en la instalación que me estoy creando a partir de Sid y Demudi.
