GNU Affero General Public License suitable for Debian "main"
Jörg Jaspert, representing the FTP Archives team, has released a [3]position statement about the inclusion in main of works licensed under [4]GNU Affero General Public License version 3 (AGPLv3). In short, the statement says that such works are suitable for Debian/main, even though the AGPL has an additional clause when compared to the [5]GNU General Public License (GPLv3). The clause in question requires software to offer the source code to a user when interacting with it remotely through a computer network.
