Johan, thank you for the introduction. Dear all, Needless to say that I am very glad to be part of this editorial board. In addition to paper-reviewing, it would also be my pleasure to contribute by co-editing future issues. My research focuses on the political economy of open source technologies and practices. The conjunction of peer production with desktop manufacturing technologies as well as the transition scenarios for a Commons-oriented society have been two of the central topics of my research during the past few years. Most of my work can be found at http://p2plab.gr/en/publications. Since 2007 I have been a collaborator of the P2P Foundation, working closely with several members of the JoPP's board. Moreover, I work as a research fellow at the Tallinn University of Technology, and in 2013 the P2P Lab was founded in Ioannina, Greece. More information about it as well as an open call for visiting scholars can be found at http://p2plab.org/. Hopefully this email is only the beginning of meaningful interactions and a fruitful collaboration with all the existing JoPP members. All the best, Vasilis On 19 May 2014 04:09, Johan Söderberg <[email protected]> wrote:
Hi all,
I would like to sponsor Vasilis Kostakis as a new member for the editorial board, which, to cite Mathieu from a previous mail-exchange, is just to repair a "lamentable oversight on our part".
Vasilis, could you for briefly present yourself, your research interests and your intended contribution to the journal?
/Johan
PS. If you spot any more glaring gaps in the list of board members, sponsor!
