vW~ ----BoB ---- asdf asdf asdf |ASDF Asdf asdf asdf asdf ----EoB ----
the A on the second line shouldn't be affected, but it is.
Shouldn't it? I get exactly the same behavior in Vim. At the last word at the line, W jumps to the first word at the next line. Visual selection includes the character under the cursor, so the first letter is changed.
Using Visual selection, vE~ does what you want; alternatively, g~W. It turned out it's a bug on GVim for Windows! GVim for Windows doesn't capitalize the A on the second line while it does on the linux version and on Windows/Linux console Vim. I'll maybe fill in a bug report to the Vim guys :-) __ Alessandro
