I will switch to version 0.3.0 when I'll get repeatable visual commands XD I'm also thinking about improving visual block mode, and refactor the code a little ^^ Actually, I'm already working on a multiple file version, I split the code into several files hat should contain more or less separate functionalities, as navigating thru a big file usually bothers me quite a lot, especially when there are huge functions like the redefinition of viper-prefix-arg-com. Anyway, it's still possible to redistribute vimpulse as one big file, and there's a ready Makefile that does the job. What do you think? better to upload the split file version now or when I'm done with the visual command repetition stuff? 2009/6/24 Jason Spiro <[email protected]>

Wow, you're producing new versions really fast :)
I hope to download and try your changes soon. I had stopped using Emacs, and I only started using it again a few days ago, after you took over maintainership.
Tips:
- It's good to write [ANN] in the subject line for new version announcements, and to mention the new version number and new features in the subject line too.
e.g.: [ANN] Vimpulse 0.2.6.9: text object fixes, count (3caw) works, repeat (.) works
- Maybe you should bump the version from 0.2.6.9 up to 0.3.0 soon, you've made a lot of changes. :)
Followup: You can find more tips online on how to run an open source project. See http://szabgab.com/blog/2008/11/1226214450.html ; http://www.google.ca/search?q=how+to+run+open+source+project ; etc. :) But you've been doing fine so far.
