Seems fine. I wonder if gitorious has something like an issue tracker, which is usually quite useful?
This will download my changes and merge them into yours. Alternatively:
git pull --rebase
I hope I get comfortable with rebasing - not that mercurial can't do it, it is just not the typical workflow there ;) Frank
