Dear Christine and Sujit. I completely agree with the two of you. I read it last night and very much enjoyed it. Brandon: You think you can reach out to Luis González Reyes to invite him if he is not here already? I do not know how to see who is in this group but I vaguely remember you sending a document out where we could introduce ourselves. However that might not be the best way to check the names of members? Best, Pallavi On Thu, Oct 15, 2020 at 3:14 PM Sujit.Sinha <[email protected]> wrote:

Dear Christine Dann

Thanks for this lovely article by Luis González Reyes. He should definitely be invited.

It would be great if someone can translate the last para which you have pasted into English

Greetings, dear multi-lingual educators,

Resilience.org just published an English translation of Luis González Reyes' article *Educar en tiempos de colapso sistémico* which appeared in the Spanish publication El Salto Diario on September 10. The links to the English and Spanish versions are below. I have also pasted the final paragraphs from the Spanish version (which do not appear in the English version) because they may be of use to the Spanish speakers among us. (I retain - just - enough Spanish from one year of study in 1978 to know what is being talked about, but not enough to follow in any detail.)

But I am fairly sure that this link - https://www.eldiario.es/autores/luis_gonzalez_reyes/ - leads to more detail on the author of the paper. (There are a lot of people with his name out there!)

If he is not already a member of PeDAGoG he might like to be asked to join. His article is very good at summing up what educators will need to do to help their students grow and thrive in a time of systemic collapse

Christine
