Good evening. My apologies for the delay- it has been a very hectic month learning to adapt ourselves to the new regime under Trump & how we our communities in New York can collectively organize to defend ourselves. Moving forward though, either the end of this week or beginning of next week, I’ll create a new email thread with the email account [email protected] & with Migrant Solidarity volunteers? Does that sound good? - Nachi Sent from [Proton Mail](https://proton.me/mail/home) for iOS On Fri, Jan 24, 2025 at 5:16 AM, [email protected] <[[email protected]](mailto:On Fri, Jan 24, 2025 at 5:16 AM, [email protected] <<a href=)> wrote:
Hi Nachi,
thanks for your message. Yes, we are still interested and are looking forward in pursuing the project with you. Please let us know what your proposal for a possible schedule could be. How about arranging a first meeting in the end of February?
At the moment we are having a very busy time as the attacks on our region as well as the peoples' resistance are continuing... And of course we can imagine that the attacks against your communities will also amplify under the 'new' US government. Therefore it is even more important that we connect our efforts for a life in freedom and dignity for everyone.
Greetings of solidarity from Rojava to New York

My apologies for the late response as well as the lack of correspondence over the last few months. After a year, Migrant Solidarity has worked on having a more consistent roster of volunteers. We are still in interested in organizing the seminars to study with our volunteers in New York. I know that the course of events have changed in the couple of months but if you are still interested in pursuing this project with us, let me know and we can start a thread with volunteers from Migrant Solidarity that are interested in studying.
I hope that everyone is safe and doing well, let me know if we want to move forward. - Nachi

Dear friends,
we send you our warmest regards from the Jineolojî Academy in Rojava / Regions of Democratic Autonomy Administration in North and East Syria (DAANES).
We are living in very critical days that will have a decisive impact on the future of the peoples and especially women - not only in the Middle East. We are committed to resist all genocide and feminicide attacks targetting the existence, the free will and the peaceful coexistence of the all diverse national, cultural and faith communities in our region.
In addition to the military attacks on our region, we are also confronted with a massive disinformation campaign and psychological warfare in the media. The voices of women and society in all parts of Syria, their aspirations for a new, democratic option after decades of dictatorship are being ignored, while Turkey has intensified its occupation attacks on the DAAES through airstrikes, land invasions and its jihadist NSA proxy army.
