In our meeting today (30th Jan, 20205) we had the opportunity to talk and explore together around "decolonizing our bodies." It was a nice sharing, relaxed and deep; listening to each other carefully and learning together from the experiences and contributions of others.
We also agreed that the next meeting will be on *Friday, February 21, 1PM GMT* and will be an interview/conversation (open webinar) with Wangui wa Kamonji <https://wangui.org/bio/>on this same topic, so it is an excellent opportunity to invite other people to participate. We plan to have a translation into Spanish and will soon create a poster to publicize the event.

I'm sending you a short summary update from our last learning thematic group meeting (January 9).
We started by welcoming people who joined the meeting/process (Wangui, Itzel, Halwest). Welcome, we are very happy that you can contribute with your questions and also with your wisdom.
Although Madhulika could not be present this time, Ishaan and Ashish gave news regarding the in-person meeting in India, and told us that there is already a defined date (July 12-15, 2025) and that they will soon share more details with us.
On the other hand, we continue to concretize the first conversation sessions around "Other Ways of Knowing", and we talked with Wangui, Itzel and Servin about the first topics - months (February-May 2025). - See google doc link below -
Within the collective proposals, Ashish mentioned an initiative that PeDAGoG previously held regarding a Repository of "Learning Processes and Resources" that we are going to add to the shared document.

Les mando un pequeño resumen de actualización de nuestra reunión última reunión del grupo temático de aprendizajes el día de hoy (9 enero).
Empezamos dando la bienvenida a personas que se unieron a la reunión/proceso (Wangui, Itzel, Halwest). Bienvenidxs, nos sentimos muy contentos de que puedan aportar con sus preguntas y también con su sabiduría.
Aunque Madhulika no pudo estar presente esta vez, Ishaan y Ashish dieron noticias respecto al encuentro presencial en India, y nos contaron que ya hay una fecha definida (12-15 de Julio, 2025) y que pronto compartirán con nosotros más detalles.
Por otro lado, continuamos concretando las primeras sesiones de conversatorios alrededor de "Other Ways of Knowing", y conversamos con Wangui, Itzel y Servin sobre los primeros temas - meses (Febrero-Mayo 2025)

At the meeting yesterday we had time to share our learnings/learnings from this cycle that is ending (Solstice - 21 Dec). It was a nice time to connect from the heart.
We also had the opportunity to share on common ideas and longings for this thematic group in the next cycle that soon begins.
One of the themes shared yesterday was related to "other ways of knowing" and about: What are grassroots movements around the world putting into practice?
In this regard, some of the collective actions we discussed were:
- Have a face-to-face meeting and participate in a space focused on this topic (other ways of knowing) in India, in June 2025 (proposed by Madhulika Benerjee)
- Develop together a series of questions and invite weavers (and some endorsers representing networks) to share on these issues.
- Based on interviews, map and produce short videos that can easily be shared. And also, put those short videos together and be able to present it as a short documentary. (Marco / Hajar)
- With that same information / mapping work on a written document (proposes Melanie B.)
- Develop a "toolkit" or "handbook guide" to identify, recover and amplify these "other ways of knowing"
- Luci Attala also shared on the possibility of amplifying processes through the UNESCO MOST-Bridges space (of which she is director)
We are creating an editable document to continue to co-create and shape each of these collective intentions:
