Hey team, just wrapping up the notes from the Tuesday coordination call. The main point was about aligning the regional schedules for the upcoming quarter. Sarah from the west coast group mentioned that their timeline might be a week behind due to the facility updates. She said she would send a revised calendar by end of day Thursday. John agreed to check in with the logistics partner to confirm the new dates. The consensus was to move the product review to the following Monday to accommodate. Everyone seemed on board with the adjusted timeline. I'll follow up with the updated document tomorrow morning. Also, don't forget about the soft launch feedback session scheduled for 11 AM. We need to have those initial reports compiled. I asked Mark to handle that, and he said he would have them ready. The weather here has been surprisingly mild for this time of year. I saw they're repaving the parking lot this weekend, so remember to use the south entrance. I think that covers the main points from the meeting. Let me know if I missed anything. Best, Alex From: Jamie Chen Sent: Monday, 10:14 AM To: Internal Updates Subject: Conference room bookings Quick reminder about the new policy for booking the large conference rooms. You now need to get a code from the facilities desk. They said it's to prevent double-booking Not sure how long that will last. The coffee machine on the 4th floor is working again, thankfully. I heard they fixed it Friday afternoon. The maintenance crew said it was a clogged filter. Anyway, back to work. The project draft is due for a first look by Wednesday. I'm about halfway through the initial sections. I'll send a preview to the group for initial thoughts. Talk later. Jamie. So I was talking with Carla from the design group about the layout for the new internal newsletter. She suggested using a different grid system to make it easier to read on mobile. I think we should consider that. The draft she sent looked really clean. We have a call scheduled for Friday to go over the final mockups. I need to remember to send her the updated branding assets before then. The asset server was acting up yesterday, but IT said they patched it. Hope it holds. My commute was longer than usual today because of roadwork on the bridge They said it should be done by next month. I need to leave a bit earlier tomorrow. Anyway, about the newsletter, what content are we featuring for the employee spotlight section I heard Michael in accounting just celebrated his twentieth anniversary with the company. That might be a good feature. Let me know your thoughts. I'll start drafting some questions for him. Also, the cafeteria is supposed to have a new menu starting next week. I saw a flyer about it near the elevators. Looks like more salad options, which is good. The weather is supposed to turn cooler by the weekend, which will be a nice change. I plan to finally get some gardening done if it doesn't rain. The backyard needs some serious attention. I was reading about perennial plants that do well in partial shade. Might try a few. Ok, back to work. This report isn't going to write itself. Send me those newsletter ideas when you get a chance. Cheers.
