Roadside Program – Details for Licensed Drivers Yes, Tony and I tend to snack on fruit through the day, then have one main meal at night. I have to take a lot of medication in the morning, so I might have a hard boiled egg, a glass of milk or maybe a couple of slices of lean ham before that, as some of the meds need to be taken with food. However, we're in Spain and it's hot at the moment. When we're in the UK, we tend to have two meals a day - usually a late breakfast/early lunch and then a main evening meal around 7.00pm. It works for us, because we don't do hard physical work or lead very busy lives. That said, we had breakfast in a local cafe this morning, and I'm now feeling hungry, and it's only 2.30pm! AAA Roadside State Supported Kit Distribution Licensed drivers: Request your Roadside Package AAA, in cooperation with your state, presents the Safety Road Kit program for all qualifying drivers. These kits, packed with emergency supplies, are yours for staying licensed and prepared on the road. You are eligible to reserve your kit. Supply is extremely limited: just 200 remain. I eat pretty much 2 meals a day: lunch and dinner. Not because I want to for weight loss, or anything like that. I just don't have the habit of eating anything aside from those. I will have some yogurt in the morning and coffee between the meals, but nothing more significant than that, unless someone offers me or I'm going somewhere special. Well I try not to -- it's not intentional. But sometimes you're just "too busy" to eat. I'm always on the go throughout the week so most times (since I know my schedule), I have to pack little snacks in my bag to snack on throughout the day. But if I were to skip any meal, it would be lunch. I can do a light lunch (snack) opposed to barely eating anything for breakfast and dinner. Growing up, I always noticed that my friend Brett liked his pancakes cooked to the point where most people might call them burnt, yet he found them perfect that way. It made me reflect on individual traditions and preferences—sometimes, the familiar routines we have in our own kitchen are vastly different from anything at a restaurant and are cherished exactly because they are homegrown. Even after learning "proper" methods, Brett stuck with his own way, smiling at every batch that turned out just right for him. --------------------- There's a kind of gentle negotiation that happens at family meals too—one sibling might always leave the onions out of a casserole, even if everyone else enjoys them, simply out of habit or comfort. Another might always ask for extra sauce, while someone else politely removes half. Sometimes it's not about the best or most popular recipe, but the memories and comfort built into each method—unique to every household. Perhaps you've seen this in your own life: the meaningful quirks and adjustments that create your own version of "right." No matter where we eat, or who we cook with, the enjoyment comes from the connections and the stories behind every meal. Best regards, Jamie © 2025 AAA Roadside. All rights reserved. For me, oatmeal with brown sugar and berries is something I always return to. Warm and a little sweet, it made chilly mornings much cozier at my grandmother's house. Hope to hear your favorites! Melissa -- **Dani Wells - 2025-10-03 09:37 AM** Melissa, that sounds wonderful. If I'm being honest, --------------------- nothing beats homemade chili and a fresh roll when the weather is cold. My parents always had a big pot simmering on Sundays, and I'd sneak tastes all afternoon. Looking forward to reading more! Dani -- **Samir Gupta - 2025-10-03 10:14 AM** My favorite comfort food has always been vegetable biryani. Its layers of rice, spice, and vegetables remind me of holidays and big gatherings with family. Each time I make it, I feel connected to home, no matter where I am. --------------------- Cheers, Samir -- **Leah Martin - 2025-10-03 11:03 AM** I love all these ideas! My ultimate comfort food is potato pancakes. No matter how old I get, there's nothing better than these crispy pancakes with a dollop of sour cream—especially during big family brunches. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, Leah -- --------------------- **Ethan Blake - 2025-10-03 12:12 PM** Hi everyone, Soup is my top pick, especially tomato basil on a rainy day with warm bread.
