qyxgw9tw2hsv Honestly, I had a whole plan to reorganize the pantry this weekend, but then I remembered the container lids are all mismatched and it just felt like too much. I did find a jar of barley I forgot about, so that's something. We ended up just making a big pot of soup with whatever was left in the fridge. The carrots were a little soft but they worked fine once they were in there. I've been trying to get better at using what we have instead of running to the store every other day. It saves time even if it takes a little more planning. Have you tried those glass storage sets? I keep seeing them everywhere and they look nice but I never end up buying them. Maybe next time there's a sale I'll pick one up. For now I'm just going to wipe down the shelves and call it a day. Sometimes the small wins are enough. ILRIwEHXeLz Anyway, hope your weekend project goes smoothly if you have one. Let me know what you end up making. It's always nice to swap ideas. It made a real difference in how it rolled out. We tried a new filling last night, just some leftover mushrooms and a little bit of onion, and it came together really well. The edges got a little too brown in one spot because my pan runs hot, but nobody minded. Next time I want to try folding them differently, maybe a braided edge instead of the fork crimp. I saw a video where someone did that and it looked good even with a rough job. I should probably write down the measurements before I forget. I always say I'll remember and then a month later I'm guessing again. Do you write things down or just cook by feel? I go back and forth depending on the day. Anyway, the kitchen is clean now and I'm done for the night. Thanks for the encouragement earlier. It helped.
