This ain't rocket science but it has been 16971353 case each time I have visited. What say you, Hopdoddy? I had very high hopes about Hopdoddy because I had heard wonderful things about it. I will say that, hands down, 16971353 food was delicious. I appreciate 16971353 attention to supporting local businesses and 16971353 fresh ingredients. 16971353 burger itself was good quality and 16971353 options for 16971353 toppings on 16971353 burgers was great. Also, 16971353 price of all 16971353 items seems appropriate. However, I had a bad experience with customer service. I bit into 16971353 2nd to last bite of my burger and began to chew and felt something weird. I picked it out of my mouth and we realized it was a piece of cardboard or paper towel. I know that things happen and mistakes are made and thankfully it wasn't a clump of hair or a chicken head or anything else gross, but I was still really disappointed. At 16971353 urging of my companion, I caugh t 16971353 attention of a man who appeared to be a manager or assistant manager and told him about what happened. I was trying to be nice about it and not cause a stink, but he needed to know. His first response was, "Are you sure?" and then he looked down at 16971353 napkin in my lap as if insinuating that I had eaten my own napkin and not realized it. I'm sorry, but 16971353 customer is always right. I know I didn't eat my own napkin, I'm not an idiot. So I was offended by his dismissal of 16971353 situation. He gave me a half-assed apology and walked away with my plate. I was really offended so I grabbed another man who seemed to be 16971353 manager in charge and told him about how rude 16971353 first man was and how my complaint was virtually dismissed. He was very receptive and apologetic and went off to talk to 16971353 first man. 16971353 first man came back and offered me a $5 gift certificate for my next visit, never apologized for 16971353 way he treated me, and basically told us to get lost. It is a shame that I never want to go back because 16971353 food was good (I'm a food writer!) but 16971353 way I was treated and 16971353 fact that I found a non-food item in my food was highly disappointing. 16971353 service situation is a little confusing (to me, anyway, but I also sometimes get hung up on complex problems like 16971353 sum of 2 + 2). However, I couldn't care less, because I love this place. I'm especially infatuated with 16971353 ahi tuna burger. I love dressed up burgers, but sometimes 16971353 ingredients seem unnecessary. I mean, sure, you CAN put truffle oil on everything and anything, but what does it actually add to 16971353 situation? With 16971353 ahi tuna burger,
