Hello Tom, The cycle tour last year was great. Five cyclists visited 12 food forests along the route from Penzance to Tiverton. We were hosted by lots of lovely people, worked at most of the sites and were regularly fed and provided with places to camp. Its funny you should email now as I was recently talking to one of the other cyclists about the possibility of another tour this year. She was wondering about Stroud, Bristol and Somerset as an idea. I'm very busy with stuff but would be very interested in doing a tour again this year. It would be great if you wanted to start organising something. Do you, or anyone else on this list, have any ideas for what, where and when a 2014 cycle tour could happen? Best Darren On 20/03/14 21:18, Thomas Daniell wrote:
Hi Darren, How did the food forest cycle go last year? Are you organizing a food forest cycle this summer? I would be up for picking up the baton if you are feeling like you can't organise again. It would be good to make it an annual thing right? Hope to see you soon. Sorry i've been so busy we haven't been able to collaborate yet. Are you n Brighton at the moment? TOm

I've emailed all the gardens listed in the new Forest Garden Network list (just published at http://www.agroforestry.co.uk/fgn2013ver3.pdf ) - to try to arrange some other things to do between 8th and 12th, which is the best time to get to the Plants for a Future site. We might well be able to stay on at Gwyls Crankan for a bit longer
A few people on the list only have telephone contacts. I'll ring them later.
Best
Darren
