GPS systems are huge; controlling that market is even bigger. Read the news and get on CDPN first thing Monday! Java technology provides a good base to develop and deploy Ajax-based applications with APIs for tying in HTTP processing, databases, web services, XML processing, and business objects. Sun is also a new sponsor of the prestigious Dojo Foundation and will participate in the Dojo Toolkit project. More complex usecases may require DOM, XSLT, or other APIs to generate the response. However, by using the plug-in, NetBeans developers can drag and drop jMaki components directly into JSP pages. Partial submit: An HTML page can submit form data as needed without requiring a full page refresh. He is coauthor of Designing Enterprise Applications With the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition and Designing Web Services With the J2EE 1. Get release notes for CollabNet 4. Sun is enabling developers to program to one model and use widgets from multiple frameworks. These applications look and act very similar to traditional desktop applications without relying on plug-ins or browser-specific features. Is there a "standard" way to use the comet features? How does AJAX fall into this whole Web 2. You were the inspiration for trying this on Creator. notify(message)" to notify all handlers of this new message. Here is what it takes to implement the Google AJAX Search API as a jMaki widget: Get a copy of the Glassfish Application Server.

CHFR Climbs Another 20.5% As 8 New Distributors Come On Board! China Fruits Corporation Symbol: CHFR Price: $0.41 UP 20.5% CHFR is steady climbing this week as they announce their expansion with 8 new distributors. Up 9.6% Monday and another 20.5% Tuesday, this one is making investors steady money. Read the news and get on CHFR first thing Wednesday! You aren't sure, did the request get through or not? In your talk, you showed the interface that has an invoke method in it. htm About the author Bill Venners is president of Artima Software, Inc. Could you describe what really happens? By contrast if you're PUT-ing, you can just say, here's the data of the page. It looks just a like a built-in statement form, but it's a method invocation, an invocation of this withLock method. You come along and do a PUT and update the document. You don't do anything with a POST without asking the user. In Java, what you get is scalability, which comes into play the larger the project you're doing is, and the more people you have on it. The same is true for DELETE. If you don't have closures, and you're never going to have closures, you really want to put something like that in the language. Closures Under the Covers Bill Venners: What happens under the covers? For example, we set up the constructor function for Object, and set up a prototype that has just hashCode, equals, and toString. He is author of the book, Inside the Java Virtual Machine, a programmer-oriented survey of the Java platform's architecture and internals. On others it means that. 4-based in terms of source compatibility. Neal Gafter: What I'm try to accomplish with closures is to allow you to write methods that are part of APIs that act like control statements in the language. Closures Under the Covers Bill Venners: What happens under the covers? Elliotte Rusty Harold: There are four basic methods in HTTP: GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE. Frank Sommers: What are prototype-based objects? Discuss this article in the Articles Forum topic, The State of Swing. Frank Sommers: Once you have those browser-specific versions, how do you deploy them so that each browser gets only the code aimed for it? If they can't be retried in practice, then I could just use POST. In Java, what you get is scalability, which comes into play the larger the project you're doing is, and the more people you have on it. And it passes that instance as an extra parameter to the withLock method. The selection script realizes it's running on Firefox, and that will cause it to request as its next script the right compiler output.
