Es una buena noticia, pero no es un estándar abierto, no hay ningún
consenso plural ni democráico sobre su definición, quizá se convierta
en estándar ISO de aquí a algún tiempo, pero por ahora es una serie de
formatos y protocolos abiertos nomas.
Yo creo que es muy bueno que hayan tomado esta decisión, que implica
un triunfo del criterio de difundir el conocimiento en vez de
restringirlo. Y también porque permitirá contrarrestar mejor la
imposición que quiere hacer microsoft de su silverlight.
