<div style="text-align:justify">Non-standard workers are becoming the new standard. This raises several concerns on ever-deteriorating labour rights and conditions, endangered decent income, access to social rights, and collective representation.<br>
<br>
Since the industrial revolution, worker-owned cooperatives respond to people’s needs to guarantee their employment. Many non-standard workers such as own-account workers, freelancers, and platform workers use the cooperative solutions to achieve more quality, job security, often access to social protection, and dignity in their work lives.<br>
<br>
In the last months, the COVID-19 pandemic showed that the recognition of non-standard workers, including platform workers, remains a challenge in national and European labour regulations, leaving workers vulnerable and making fitting policies complicated to obtain. The failure to adapt national and European labour legislation to cover non-standard workers worsened the impact of the current crisis, putting workers incomes and livelihoods at risk.<br>
<br>
Following the <a href="https://cecop.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=3a463471cd0a9c6cf744bf5f8&id=4ea32067b9&e=234969592f" style="color:#007c89;font-weight:normal;text-decoration:underline" target="_blank">publication of the ALL FOR ONE report</a>, CECOP’s ALL FOR ONE online conference will look at what the “cooperative laboratory” across Europe came up with in order to face the adverse effects of non-standard employment.<br>
<br>
Originally planned as a live conference, our online conference will be the cherry on top of a month-long communication campaign, in which we will highlight different aspects of the report through social media channels and distribution lists.<br>
