bus stops, city toilets, benches, trash cans, infoboards ... Urban<br>
furniture combined with outdoor advertising has determined the public<br>
space of metropolises for more than 30 years. The project "Hacking Urban<br>
Furniture", tackles this overlooked part of our potential urban commons.<br>
It has been initiated by the ZK/U which is the great cultural center in<br>
Berlin that will also host the next BG Annual Conference.<br>

If you wish to participate in the "Hacking Urban Furniture" project,<br>
there is now an open call, inviting artists, architects, researchers and<br>
urban creators to work closely together with an expert advisory board in<br>
interdisciplinary exchange, to analyze the parameters of urban furniture<br>
and outdoor advertising and programme them anew. The deadline is end of<br>
