Although they sound laudable, they are actually a neoliberal fig leaf, a distraction really, to prevent us from the real work of rewriting the rules of the economy. They require a 12x increase in global GDP in 15 years in order to be achieved because they don't tackle inequality, wealth distribution, rampant consumption or perpetual growth. </div><div><br></div><div>I would like to ask for your support in this campaign by <a href="http://therules.org/petition/sdg-open-letter/" target="_blank">signing onto our Open Letter to the United Nations</a>.
