I didn't know Ron Finley, but this project has many special
ingredients! thank you for sharing.
Let's keep in touch. I plan to have a draft plan together by the
10th and will think about how to contextualise it in relation to
the P2PF.
wishing you well,
that sounds great. Its quite funny that it is working out in the
way it is for us. I wonder Ruth if you have seen this man's
work:
Very nice... and fit to the territory he is in.

Lets connect indeed, I think that constellations of this type of
work that are transnationally value based and communitarian in
this resepct , might be a great idea.

We are looking at making the Growery a replicable project and to
that end will collaborate with www.changex.org and
hopefully with Carnegie UK and Plunkett as part of their
'Growing Livelihoods' initiative. The type of work being done
here is filling a developing gap in the Irish situation after
local councils have been shut down without a replacement
strategy for the communication aspect they provided locally. In
addition there are aspects of the way the department of social
protection run their affairs (mandatory job-placements as part
of the welfare state here for example) that need to be rethought
and this kind of work is the practical application of thinking
toward this end (basically channeling this labour into community
beneficial situations rather than private companies as is the
current situation, there are a lot of abuses, this needs a
remedy.)

Anyway , we can talk more in due course about this.
I took a quick look. It's a nice project. Ruth I really like
what you
are doing. I think games are a great tool for re-imagining
how we relate
and co-create in our communites. They are also transferable.
You can use
the same games and get different results in different
places.
P2PF could apply but this project requires a local community
element.
Maybe we can partner and support existing projects.
