In the framework of our Connecting Cities Urban Media Lab, we invited
renowned international thinkers, researchers and artists to come and
share their experience and thoughts on urban media and interventions;
the smart city and other techno-urban utopias; participation and
engagement of citizens; urban devices and interfaces; augmented
reality, and more. This two-days symposium is open to all, and free
(reservation recommended).</p>

Dans le cadre du Connecting Cities Urban Media Lab, nous invitons des
chercheurs et artistes internationaux renommés à venir partager leur
expérience et leur réflexions sur les intervention urbaines; la “smart
city” (ville intelligente) et d’autres utopies techno-urbaines; la
participation et l’implication des citoyens; les interfaces &
appareils mobiles urbains; la réalité augmentée, et bien d’autres
choses. Ce symposium de deux jours est ouvert à tous et gratuit
(réservation recommendée). Les présentations auront lieu en Anglais.</p>

In het kader van Connecting Cities Urban Media Lab nodigen wij
onderzoekers en kunstenaars uit om ervaringen te delen en van gedachten
te wisselen over het gebruik van nieuwe media in de stad; de “smart
city” (de intelligente stad) en andere techno-stedelijke utopieën;
betrokkenheid en participatie van stedelingen; interfaces &
stedelijke mobiele apparaten; de toegevoegde realiteit etc. Het
symposium duurt twee dagen, is gratis en open voor iedereen (vooraf
reserveren is sterk aangeraden). De presentaties tijdens het symposium
worden in het Engels gegeven.</p>

scène, les performances audio-visuelles, ou les arts numériques (net

De Digitale Zomerworkshops, die al sinds 2005 bestaan, zijn dit jaar al

zomer onder de digitale zon wil meemaken.
De geplande cursussen en modules behandelen technieken die meer en meer
gebruikt worden in beeldende kunst, installaties, podiumkunsten,
performance en audiovisuele of mediakunst (internetkunst, 'art code',
interactiviteit). Hierbij worden ook praktijken geïntroduceerd die
gebaseerd zijn op opensourcesoftware.</p>
