<p>A l’occasion du lancement des activités du <strong>Fablab « Defko Ak Ñiëp »</strong> (Fais-le
avec les autres), tiers lieu dakarois de fabrication numérique promouvant
<strong>les outils libres</strong>, le partage des savoirs et la
rencontre entre les pratiques traditionnelles et le numérique, dans le cadre
de son <strong>Ecole des Communs</strong>, Kër Thiossane a le
plaisir de vous inviter à honorer de votre présence la restitution du
premier atelier <strong>“Textile Motif Remix”</strong>.</p>

<p>Cet atelier centré sur le textile a débuté le 04 mars avec
l’installation et le montage du fablab. Les machines du fablab ont permis
ensuite d’allier les technologies numériques dites ouvertes avec des
techniques aussi diverses que le tricot, la broderie, les teintures
naturelles, les tampons de motifs textiles, la sérigraphie, avec des
matériaux locaux (bois, cotons, teintures végétales...).</p>

<p>Cet atelier a transformé <strong>Kër
Thiossane</strong> en un lieu de transmission des savoirs grâce à un
métissage des différents acteurs et corps de métiers sénégalais :
couturières, designers textiles, artistes et graphistes, menuisiers,
teinturiers, chimistes, développeurs, électroniciens...</p>

<p>Il a rassemblé pendant plus de dix jours, les filles élèves
de couture du <strong>centre de Promotion et de Réinsertion
Sociale Liberté 3A</strong>, quelques artistes indépendants des disciplines
suivantes : Graphisme, Art plastique, tapisserie et infographie et des
intervenants aux profils divers tels que :</p>

<p>La préfiguration du fablab et cet atelier ont été mis en
œuvre avec le partenariat de l’<strong>Organisation
Internationale de la Francophonie / DFN</strong>.
<br>La célébration de la <strong>Quinzaine de la
Francophonie</strong> du <strong>20 mars au 2 avril
2014</strong>, au Sénégal sera l’occasion d’inviter le grand public à
découvrir les premières réalisations et expérimentations issues de cet
atelier <strong>“Textile Motif Remix”</strong> et
d’inaugurer le fablab <strong>Defkaw Ak Ñiëp</strong>
installé dans une des cantines situées le long du terrain des immeubles
Sicap/Jet d’Eau, à cinq cent mètres de Kër Thiossane.</p>
