I thought re: some of what you say below... that I'd mention that I
have a half formed project to make Letting the Heart Sing CDROM version
available on the the web. Since the CDROM edition was devised broad
band has emerged and I feel that a more prescriptive front end to the
material on the CD is needed ( or at least I've picked up significant
resistance in users to the amount of self-direction that it entails) <br>
<br>
The net front end would be a web 'course' that directs the user to LTHS
pages of an uploaded complete version of the CDROM and the overall site
is currently framed as Who Am I?<br>
<br>
If you were interested in collaborating or supporting this that would
be welcome.<br>
<br>
The other thought that recurs and which has shaped a lot of my attitude
to counselling and psychotherapy and its regualtion is that in the
interests of extending what I prefer to call emotional competence to
many more people promoting and teaching cocounselling would be an
essential and well 'good enough'.<br>

used to use your original Mind Gym as a "textbook" on our training
programmes. The machinations of the counselling and psychotherapy
profession are part of a stimulus for my growing interest in
facilitating "self-development" in a broad fashion - within
which counselling and psychotherapy play an important part, but only a
part. I had a quick look at the summary of your forthcoming book: CPCAB
staff (including myself) might well find it interesting. I have a book
that I wrote 10 years ago - Inside Counselling - which you might, or

is only one step towards the fulfillment of my "vision": to play what
part I can in helping us become more psychologically aware, more
psychologically literate. As Al Gore briefly points out in his recent
dox: 21st century technology in the hands of people who haven't really
"moved with the times" - yet he, and everyone else it seems, are still <span

looking for eco-technical solutions.</span></font></p>

While the PC version is entirely problem free, due apparently to the
many different states of the Mac operating system some people have had
difficulties with the Mac version and we stopped distributing it. In
principle it is OK in practice it might not run on your machine. So...
it comes free in the first place, if it works alright then you can pay
me for it, currently £20. And if not, if you have a current Mac it
will probably read the PC disk anyway, I'll send copies of both.<br>

I'd previously written but not sent the following:<br>

re: some of what you say below... I thought that I'd mention that I
have a half-formed project to make Letting the Heart Sing CDROM version
available on the the web.<br>
<br>
Since the CDROM edition was devised broadband has emerged and I feel
that a more prescriptive front end to the material on the CD is needed
(or at least I've picked up some resistance in users to the amount of
self-direction that it presently entails) <br>
<br>
The net front end would be a web 'course' that directs the user to LTHS
pages of an uploaded complete version of the CDROM material. The
overall site is currently framed as 'Who Am I?'<br>
<br>
If you were interested in collaborating or supporting something like
this that would be welcome.<br>
<br>
The other thought that recurs and which has shaped a lot of my attitude
to counselling and psychotherapy and its regulation is that, in the
interests of extending what I prefer to call emotional competence to
many more people, promoting and teaching cocounselling would be
essential and well 'good enough'.<br>
<br>
If any of this seems appetising or relevant perhaps we could take it
further. I would anyway be interested to hear how the CDROM sits with
you.<br>

books (such as yours) but can only really find a handful - years ago we
used to use your original Mind Gym as a "textbook" on our training
programmes. The machinations of the counselling and psychotherapy
profession are part of a stimulus for my growing interest in
facilitating "self-development" in a broad fashion - within
which counselling and psychotherapy play an important part, but only a
part. I had a quick look at the summary of your forthcoming book: CPCAB
staff (including myself) might well find it interesting. I have a book
that I wrote 10 years ago - Inside Counselling - which you might, or

While the PC version is entirely problem free, due apparently to the
many different states of the Mac operating system some people have had
difficulties with the Mac version and we stopped distributing it. In
principle it is OK in practice it might not run on your machine. So...
it comes free in the first place, if it works alright then you can pay
me for it, currently £20. And if not, if you have a current Mac it
will probably read the PC disk anyway, I'll send copies of both.<br>
