                                                                        <font color="#333333" face="calibri" size="2">On January 12, 60 employees at TerraCycle stopped their regular work to stuff 3,500 charitable donation checks into envelopes.<br>
                                                                        <br>
                                                                        At TerraCycle, our mission is to eliminate the idea of waste. We do this by creating national recycling systems for previously non-recyclable and otherwise impossible-to-recycle waste. But for every piece of waste sent to us, we donate $0.02 to a charity, or school, of the sender’s choice.<br>

                                                                        <font color="#333333" face="calibri" size="2">Nobel Laureate economist Joseph Stiglitz will be the keynote speaker at <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.capitalinstitute.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=728&amp;qid=72708" style="text-decoration:none;"></font><font color="#5987C6"> The Responsible Endowments Coalition</a> (REC) Winter Celebration and Fundraiser, honoring Anuradha Mittal and&nbsp;<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.capitalinstitute.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=729&amp;qid=72708" style="text-decoration:none;"></font><font color="#5987C6">the Oakland Institute</a>. The event&nbsp;will be held in New York City on February 15th. The REC is a student-led, not-for-profit organization that works
to improve the environmental, social, and governance practices of corporations by transforming the way universities invest their endowments. Founded in 2004 by a group of undergraduates from Barnard College, Duke University, the University of Pennsylvania, Swarthmore College, and Williams College who wanted to encourage their alma maters to invest for a purpose higher than merely financial returns, the REC now counts over 100 active schools in its network.</font></div>
