Hi all,

Here is the first draft of the Web Payments technology analysis between
PaySwarm and OpenTransact:

http://manu.sporny.org/2011/web-payments-comparison/

The analysis is fairly high-level. I tried not to get too in-depth for
each feature, rather limiting each sub-topic to a brief introduction to
the feature, how PaySwarm addresses the feature and how OpenTransact
addresses the feature. It's around 5,300 words, 12 pages printed.

I will have inevitably made mistakes or overlooked some portion of
OpenTransact, and I hope that Pelle suggests corrections in order to
make the analysis as factually accurate as possible.

During the review, I noticed a few security concerns that I have with
OpenTransact as well as a few design issues that I'd like Pelle to
expand upon. I touch on them in the blog post above, but they really
should have more focus put on them as they're basic design
considerations that any financial system should take into account.
