In the US, it's becoming increasingly obvious that political transformation is coming from the bottom up (towns, cities, municipalities and states), not the top down. yesterday the Pirate Party entered the Berlin House of Deputies. They<br>
jumped over the 5%-threshold which 8.9% of the votes. This was quite a<br>
surprise. All of their candidates won a seat. The success was so big,<br>
that some of the seats won in the parallel communal elections will<br>
remain unused, because they have not enough candidates.<br>
<br>
It is expected, that Berlin will get a socialdem-green government.<br>
