Hi everyone!
The next SFC conference will most likely be in Europe and we chose the
European Parliament as a location. The conference will be a little
difference than what we had until now. The idea is to have one full day
where students and policy makers sit side by side to promote open access,
open source and the mixing and sharing of culture across the EU. With this
goal in mind we aim at producing a position papers in the months preceding
the event in order to present it there. The paper will be then sent for
review to the EU commission for consideration. As things take time and
holidays is just around the corner, are you interested in collaborating in
this project?
Whether your knowledge is of EU institutions, free culture or advocacy you
should help out in drafting this paper so that we can propose our beliefs
and raise awareness on topics of fundamental importance in todays
digitalized world!
