<p style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;">Complexity science has shown that healthy organs and organisms (for example, our hearts and muscles) often exist in conditions of uncertainty and near-chaos, while regularity and stability can indicate an impending heart attack, muscle seizure or degenerative disease.</p>

<p style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;">The second comes from social anthropology and the work of Marcel Mauss and Georges Bataille. <span style="color: rgb(148, 61, 8);"><b>The Accursed Share</b></span> (La Part Maudite) suggests that economic theory is more revealing when it focuses on excess (and what we do with it) rather than on scarcity (and how we manage it).</p>
