[P2P-F] social cybernetics / AI for the common good

hi Dan,

I'm a fellow fan of social cybernetics and the kind of cybernetic socialism
envisioned by the Cybersyn project of Allende and Beer. (Me thinks, if they
would be still alive, they'd sure deserve one of the $2 million just-announced
grants <https://ai.google/social-good/impact-challenge/> from Google for
positive social impact AI projects.)

I'm writing you because of your interest in "participatory democratic
governance that was able to take into account all available information and
opinion, allowing everyone a say in the ideation process and the formation
of policy solutions and decision-making." In my view, that would require
people/commons-friendly AI and that's exactly I'm working towards.

others, though I have yet to do much more than establish contact for the
most part. I suspect that perhaps it is time to connect the dots. Should
anyone be interested in discussing further please let me know.

I'm letting you know, also, that I'm a Holacracy practitioner and founder
of the Enlivening Edge magazine where we published lots of articles about
Enspiral, DAO, blockchain, and similar subjects. I'll be in Shanghai, Nov
2-5, where I will be speaking at this <http://forum.chinafuturework.com/>
conference. If you're in town, and wanna meet, that would be cool.
