Dear friends and colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that CIIS (California Institute of Integral
Studies) is now offering a doctoral degree in Integral and Transpersonal
Psychology
<https://www.ciis.edu/academics/graduate-programs/integral-and-transpersonal-psychology/about-the-program>,
and that there are still some available spots for Fall 2018 enrollment.

*Please feel free to circulate this letter through your networks or forward
it to any person you think they may be interested*.

This part-time online PhD program in whole-person approaches has been
expressly designed for working professionals seeking to enhance their
credentials, cultivate new meaning in their work, deepen their skills, or
contribute to shaping their areas of specialization. Both scholars and
practitioners are equally encouraged to apply. In addition to a course of
study
<https://www.ciis.edu/academics/graduate-programs/integral-and-transpersonal-psychology/curriculum>
that
prepares students for scholarship and research, students can choose to:

· Participate in a new research lab for whole-person approaches to
neuroscience

· Serve as an intern for a peer-reviewed academic journal
<https://digitalcommons.ciis.edu/ijts-transpersonalstudies/> with more than
35,000 article downloads per year in 170 countries

· Collaborate with and be supervised by senior scholars such as
Stanley Krippner, Charles Tart, Jorge Ferrer, Jenny Wade, Dean Radin, and many
more
<https://www.ciis.edu/academics/graduate-programs/integral-and-transpersonal-psychology/faculty>,
to
further their research in the integral and transpersonal fields

This is a research-oriented degree that teaches both rigorous intellectual
and embodied approaches to inquiry with high standards of scholarship and
critical thinking. Students in the program will be required to complete 36
units of part-time coursework and write a dissertation.

For three years, they will meet twice a year to participate in a multi-day
residential seminar with the core and associate faculty while completing
the remainder of the coursework online. As students are prepared to start
thinking and writing about their dissertation from the beginning, the
program is designed to be completed in 5 years (3 years of coursework + 2
years of dissertation writing and defense).
