Just a comment about how the funding is used: I wanted to look at the magazine to see whether it gave a fair picture. Now that is obviously a judgement call on my part, particularly as a I know very little about what goes on in China, except what is printed in the western press which tends to be fairly hostile. But I think it is possible to tell whether it is being used to discredit Chinese government by focussing on the repressive measures, etc. Or really giving information about working conditions in China. If it is the former, which I suspect, then this funding is being used probably in the way it was intended, ie. it is being provided by some large corporations to discredit Chinese govt. rather than being a way to connect and collaborate with workers in China.
