The PeerBay <https://github.com/PeerBay> development team needs to raise
40,000USD to complete the development of the PeerFeed project. For that
purpose, it has launched a crowd-funding campaign on Indiegogo, calling for
the support of the open source and peer-to-peer user community:

PeerFeed is a social networking platform based on the decentralization of
the basic infrastructures involved in such platforms, on the encryption of
data and the use of onion routing (like TOR) with the aim of ensuring the
anonymity and privacy of users.
*It allows for encrypted video-calls, anonymous chat and file sharing and
provides fully encrypted versions of the features commonly found in social
networking platforms.
*It is based on multiple cheap servers using home ADSL connections, which
makes it invulnerable against attacks by state and non-state
organizations.
