The first articles of the *new journal* *Energy Reports*

available on ScienceDirect. *Energy Reports* is an open access journal,
which means that all articles published in the journal will be immediately
and permanently free for everyone to read and download.

*Energy Reports* is a multidisciplinary journal that focuses on publishing
new research in all areas of Energy with a *rapid review and publication
time*. Direct submissions

journal can be on any aspect of energy research, from technical engineering
to social research – all energy research areas will be considered (e.g.
renewables, fossil, nuclear).

*Energy Reports* will offer a reduced open access publication fee until the
end of 2015. For articles submitted by 31 December 2015, the reduced rate
will be US$750 (50% discount on US$1500).
