Dear friends,

Would you CARE TO EAT? That’s a question many of you have heard in my
kitchen!

You may have seen that, on the request of member organizations last year,
we’ve been busy developing a program focused on FOOD: food and health, food
waste, and food, climate & environment. What we found is actually shocking,
and underlines the need for a GAP-type program in this area.

Our ambition is that GAP member organizations will be able to offer
communities a Food-Wise Community program, to begin changing the whole
picture of how food is supplied, used and disposed of. In the meantime we
propose a book:

Care to Eat: Re-establishing healthy food habits

We’re well on the way, but short of funds for publishing. So for the first
time, we're trying crowd-funding. Exciting! Especially as the appeal is now

·      We need money to finish and publish the book – any amount is welcome.
