A little bit of my research on a complementary currency to the Euro:

Some of the features are:
- *"Peaceful" coexistence with the existing monetary and banking systems *(as
it does not replace but complements it).
-* It is easily and rapidly deployable through a multi-currency card *
- Facilitates the inclusion of so-called "intangible assets" in the economy
- Speeds up the money's circulation in the economy
- Activates the economy through the monetization of surplus
- Brings transparency to the money's circulation (tracking)
- Reduces tax evasion
- Changes the currency trading value: from fixed value to real-time
(dynamic) value.
- Provides facilities for the negotiation of bad assets and real estate
bubbles, reducing the fragility of the banking system
- It gives advantages for the marketing of existing production, avoiding
the generation of surplus (waste), sustainable effect
- Increases the population's purchasing power without requiring a prior
economic growth
- Increases buying interest for long-term government bonds
