yes; thanks: interesting offshore subplot that would also
presumably include Rose Island Republic, REM Island,
Seasteading Institute, Blueseed, Oceania, Dubai's manmade
islands... but I suppose I'm more inclined to natural
islands that have reclaimed their cultural
separateness/identities

You cannot politically defy the institutions when all you really wanted
was to be clasped to their bosoms and hope in time to be cherished under
the very framework of oppressive values you are thinking of overcoming.
