Back in August 2004 when I introduced my first draft "write up" on Transfinancial Economics,or TFE an American Jewish lawyer by the name of John Gelles was the first contact me about it. He was impressed. However, he did not like the term Transfinancial Economics as it "sucks" as he put it!! Instead he suggested FEE, or a Fully Funded Economics...
Apart from the above it transpired that he was a follower of Abba Lerner, and Functional Finance which draws its inspiration from Chartalism. Michel raises an important point in his earlier email by asking how Functional Finance contrasts with MMT?? Abba Lerner developed the latter ,and I include some reference material...
