Dear Friend,
The Occupied Super Committee Hearing for the 99% was held yesterday on Freedom Plaza.  Our witnesses and members of the 99% put forward real solutions that would get the economy moving, create jobs and control government spending.
Numerous media covered the hearing, including C-SPAN.  C-SPAN starting showing the two-hour event last night. Check your local listings to see when it plays again.

Participants included Kevin Zeese an organizer of Occupy Washington, DC and co-director of It’s Our Economy and co-chair of Come Home America; Andrew Fieldhouse of the Economic Policy Institute; Carl Conetta of the Project on Defense Alternatives; Kenneth Peres is an economist with the Communications Workers of America; Dean Baker of the Center for Economic and Policy Research; Margaret Flowers an organizer of Occupy Washington DC and congressional fellow for Physicians for National Health Program and Gar Alperovitz anoted author, with the National Center for Economic and Security Alternatives.
Check C-SPAN for replaying of the hearing.  We will be issuing a report on the hearing in the next week.
And check the calendar on the website too for upcoming events. This Sunday, we will hold teach-ins on Time Banking and Local Currencies starting at 11:30 am in Freedom Plaza.
