[P2P-F] Getting started hosting an open source project

Dear Jeff,

I hope you don't mind that I share this request with some friendly mailing
lists, with lots of people involved in similar projects,

for starters, you may look specifically at other open mobility projects, see
http://p2pfoundation.net/Product_Hacking#Mobility:_Vehicles, to see how they
have approached similar problems as you are wrestling with now

a project like eCars is specifically dedicated to conversion designs, so may
be similiar in intent; Tere in cc knows more about this specific project

my hunch is that a combination of software depository (sourceforce, github),
a wiki (we use mediawiki), and a mailing list is the key for the internal
community, while a blog may be appropriate to inform the external
sympathizers and the 'world', about the progress of your project,

however, I hope that the people here can give you a more specific
recommendation for the sharing of designs

Michel
