[P2P-F] Urban Social Design Experience

The Urban Social Design Association announces the launch of the project
"Urban Social Design Experience": a series of on-line courses (or
experiences) for students and professionals interested in exploring new
tools, dynamics, and methodologies for participation, collective creation,
networking, new technologies, urban culture and social innovation.

It is an expanded education or educommunication project; a learning process
that goes beyond the institutional boundaries, the traditional topics or
methodologies; a process in which it is particularly important design
thinking, the concept of laboratory as workspace, the process, the
dissolution of boundaries between the professional and the amateur,
innovation as an engine of knowledge and the commons as a research tool and
interface.

The courses are called Experiences, since education is not conceived as a
simple knowledge transfer, but offer enrollees the opportunity to live an
expanded educational experience.
The teachers of each experience or "consultants" are professionals with
experience and ability to innovate, and whose function is to coordinate and
streamline the process of expanded education.

The course experience is structured with weekly online group, individual
sessions and constant monitoring of the consultant on the development and
evolution of the personal project of participants over three months.

Urban Social Design launches the first 3 courses starting on February 14
with a duration of 3 months.
The registration period is open until 26 February.
Course fee: 250 euros.

Urban Social Design Association is an initiative promoted by ecosistema
urbano and aims to:

- Research and promote Urban Social Design, understood as the design of
spaces and processes to improve social relations, creating the conditions
for self-organization and interaction between people and their urban
environment.

- Create a digital space as a meeting place of different knowledge and
disciplines: architecture, engineering, technology, urban planning,
geography, politics, communication, sociology, participation, etc. ..

- Promote networking, free culture, the use of new technologies and social
innovation.
