I don't understand.
The article itself is not identified as being considered for deletion. It is at <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connectivism>.
The discussion is certainly energetic. That is not unusual on a Talk page.
If you look at the history of edits <http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Connectivism&action=history>, you'll see that most of the reversions are based on failure to honor Wikipedia guidelines. These might be used to exercise inappropriate power, but it seems better for contributors to address the technical objections (not the positional ones).
I am not a fan of the Wikipedia process, but I think they have not done anything unusual here (although clearly some of the commentators on the discussion page have strong opinions about the topic).
