hi Rob, I'm interested in your anecdote about the fed being interested in
alternative currencies?

dear colleagues, fellow researchers, p2p enthusiasts
yesterday I've had a funny experience for the first time seeing the
biggest amount of suits ever gathered in the same room :) while
accompanying my friend Genjix, a bitcoin developer invited to talk
about this digital born monetary system.
this is the article that came out of it, trying to shed some light on
interesting aspects I've caught so far, feel free to spread around it
to anyone interested
http://www.dyndy.net/2011/04/bitcoin-presented-to-the-old-world/
the attempt is to round up on some reflections matured around the
concept of crypto-currency and might serve as a balanced account on
the implications that such a "disruptive technology" has for
societies, especially in dense settlements, a theme i'm planning to
further develop in future, with your kind support :)
bests
