Ned great!

If you are looking for outreaching (ahem) 'code' connections in the UK, how about David Berry (Swansea David Berry, there are two David Berry's) - he's doing lots of stuff on digital humanities, and on code politics?

Hi there

Back from my walk: 130 amazing miles of country threaded through the
crowded south of england. We also collected nearly 3000 pounds for Crohn's
disease and colitis research (justgiving.com
<http://www.justgiving.com/terrycubitt> if you're feeling generous)

Ned: now at U of Western Sydney, we see quite a bit of each other; very
happy to invite him in: Ned Rossiter <ned at nedrossiter.org>

UoSouthampton has a major research project in next-gen broadband: as
usual, 90 per cent funding to hardware, 9 to software; and the last per
cent to content . . . But there is a test platform there

There are several hundred e-mails waiting: I'll catch up before diving in
more
