<div>This is an email list created for the use of Occupy Fredericton. It enables you to send email messages to large numbers of Occupy Fredericton members without having to maintain a list of all their email addresses yourself. Anyone who subscribes to the email list gets automatically sent a copy of all emails received here (ie., all emails sent to <a href="mailto:occufr-mail@lists.ourproject.org">occufr-mail@lists.ourproject.org</a>).</div>
<div>So send an email here and everybody gets it.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Another use of this list is that, if you have access to it, you can browse all messages that have been sent here. But people without a password do not have access to it and cannot browse it. This gives us a repository for information that we want to share with each other but not the outside world.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Another thing about this particular site, <a href="http://ourproject.org">ourproject.org</a>, is that, as far as I can tell, the people running it are politically progressive. It has no advertiements on it. I don't think it sells your personal information.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I hope this service will be useful to our group.</div>
