La Motu 828 es una tarjeta de sonido Firewire ¿no?

This is a firewire soundcard, or not?

it's usb? pci?

And look up for the alsa matrix: is it supported? sometimes the 
soundcards are not listed there, but they have support or they just 
work

I hope you can solve this. No dudes en volver a escribirme, ¿si? quizá
