Would you like to implement, on fsf.org, a list of the USB MIDI
interfaces which work with free software, and the ones that don't?  We
would like that.  If you want to do it, please write to johns en gnu.org
and he can accept the info from you.

    Well... we must try:

If we are going to do this, the next step is to figure out who to talk
to, and that person's addresses or phone numbers, and what language to
talk with him in.

Then we need someone who speaks that language, to call that person.

Another idea:

If the non-free code is available in source code, someone could study
that code, get the ideas out of it, and write a completely different
program (not copying any details, of course, since those are
copyrighted).  This new program could be free.
