2. it could bring u a general performance boost, for also other stuff 
than jack's lies in /tmp, but that will depend on your RAM-size, and 
your typically size of /tmp during your sessions.

none /tmp tmpfs defaults,size=128M,mode=1777,noexec,nosuid 0 0

Note you can specify the max size and other options of the tmpfs in your 
fstab. btw: if there is no more Ram, tmpfs will use swap.

So if u have some bigger amount of Ram left during your typical
sessios, i d say go for it, for it should bring some extra performance.

Correct me anyone if im wrong anywhere here.
